The Alarm System can be activated by remote key fob, timer, manually or by a simple text message. Up to 10 telephone numbers can be notified of an activation.

Our major products are wireless solar powered 2-beam, 4-beam, 8-beam infrared sensors(beam towers) for outdoor perimeter security.

No cable wire is needed, no maintenance is needed, it’s easy for installation. They are amongst the best products in the world, because:

Veritech Alarm

Unlike other suppliers, Veritech Alarm is a monitored wireless alarm security system especially suited to sites where hard-wired systems would be inappropriate, impractical or too costly to install. Proven reliability, rugged build quality, the flexibility of a wireless installation together with 24-hour remote monitoring at our own secure operating centre combine to deliver a significant package of benefits. System support embraces a comprehensive service that includes guard response to alarms.

Monitoring and Response

The Veritech Alarm can operate in the absence of electrical power and standard phone lines. Running from Solar power and a 60 day battery backup using wireless links and mobile communications the system is monitored remotely on a constant basis for system status and alarm activity. It is automatic and is activated and turned off, remotely, manually or by preset timetables. These are easily reconfigured my site managers using a secure password.

Normal maintenance of the system is included within the standard service. Any system fault or other error message is detected remotely prompting a maintenance visit.

Alarm activity is responded to immediately. The exact time and location of each alarm trigger enables rapid response to an on site guard to be directed to the source of the alarm. The full package of service includes equipment hire monitoring and response services.

Equipment

The Veritech Alarm system uses a variety of different detectors in both internal and external environments. Each site will vary. Some small sites require only internal protection of buildings or offices and these will use internal infrared and smoke / fire sensors. On larger sites perimeters and open areas will use a combination of active infrared and passive infrared detectors with other needs covered by vibration sensors, cable theft detectors and some specialist detectors for particular needs.

Detectors (Passive infra red) - External – Zones:

The external detectors provide high quality wide angle detection of 12 metres x 15 metres, and 40 metres x 1.7 metres and are equipped with multi focus technology to eliminate false alarms caused by changes in detection patterns.

Detectors (Passive infra red) – Internal – Zones:

The internal detectors provide high quality detection with a choice of wide angle (11 metres x 11 metres) or narrow angle (1.2 metres x 17 metres) and are equipped with multi focus technology to eliminate false alarms caused by changes in detection patterns. The units will be Solar powered and fitted with the wireless technology to create a ‘stand alone’ alarm unit.

Detectors (Active infra red) Zones:

The external detectors comprise active infra red beams made up of a transmitter and a receiver. The units will provide detection up to 300 metres in range and are equipped with an adjustable beam interruption time to rule out false alarms caused by fast moving objects; the units will also be mounted at a height above ground level to prevent false alarms caused by rodents. The automatic gain control will compensate for loss of signal caused by snow or fog and the circuitry ensures that the beams will function even with a reduction of 99% in signal strength

Detectors (vibration) Zones:

The Plant & machinery and metal site cabins will be protected by a vibration alarm which is rivet mounted to the cabin to be protected and is stand alone complete with battery, transmission unit and aerial. The detectors will alarm if they detect vibration through the body caused by an attack by an intruder trying to force an entry.
